Auburn

Well we just returned from Auburn Alabama where we spent our weekend with JD and Elizabeth. They are king and queen of the land of hospitability- which is a word. We got to see where the world greatest colloege football team plays. And even play a little game of our own called... Cornhole. Which has nothing to do with prison. It's actually like been bags, golf and horshoes were all loaded into one shotgun and then fired and BAM... there was cornhole. anyway JD made us all look like we should be in the "special" cornhole league- which exists ...but I must give him proper credit at this time.               <--- that was a moment of silence. anyway we got to visit the church that they are helping plant and thats exciting. I learned more from them how the church is not for us but we are made for the church. And if we get offended in a church we should not leave and talk about it, but dive in to the church and try to work through things... like a family. anyway

July 4th

Morgan and I spent the 4th at a lake house south of birmingham with our dear friends elizabeth and jd. I say south of birmingham because I have no idea where I was. but this is an ACTUAL picture of JD and I looking for our wives in the forest. Some might think this is photoshopped but don't believe them. it was a really cool forest. anyway we had a blast being lazy and eating peppered dorritos. I thought it would be fun to sum up the weekend using only three words per sentence... so I am going to try that now:

Park over there! JD busted toe. Bed Spoken for. loud big fireworks. All sleep here. cascading freezing air! eat great buiscuits. fall off float. more peppered dorritoes. half deluxe sandwich. love my country.
